Athlete Development Academy
What is an Athlete Development Academy?
As our flagship program, our mission is to coach each athlete to move their body as efficiently as possible before attempting to move it as fast as possible. We accomplish this with obsessive attention to detail and constant coaching and support. Athletes can expect to be challenged to perform to the best of their abilities each session.
Athlete development is more than just running and lifting weights. Yes, we will run, but we will also change directions, improve reaction time, throw medicine balls, use resistance bands, and stretch. All of this is to assist in your development as an athlete, preparing you to take on any challenge in your sport.
How long is each session?
Each of our sessions is 60 minutes long. Athletes can expect to complete a dynamic warm-up, coordination exercises, speed mechanics drills, agility training, power exercises, and mobility drills in each session. Our sessions are ongoing, and new athletes will be properly acclimated to training alongside those who have been with us for a longer period of time.
Which sports and ages do you work with?
We specialize in high school and collegiate rotational athletes (e.g., baseball, softball, tennis, golf, etc.), but have experience working with all athletes of all sports and ability levels.
How much does your Athlete Development Academy cost?
$40 per session
Sessions never expire and do not need to be used consecutively (although consistency breeds results). All new athletes will need to click the yellow box to set-up a free phone consultation prior to attending their first session.
Can I bring my entire team to train?

“I’ve seen firsthand the impact that Bill Zenisek has had on both my son and daughter. While at Ball State, Aiden’s speed and agility increased substantially and he continues to follow that guidance and lessons learned today as a player at Kent State.
Rowan, a tennis player at Delta High School, has recently started working with BKZ and the results have been immediate.
If your son or daughter has a true desire to enhance overall movement and committed to building an athletic foundation, I highly recommend having a conversation with Bill because the BKZ structure and methodologies are currently working very well for several young athletes.”
— Chad Hinds, Executive Director of the Prospects Organization and Father to Aiden and Rowan Hinds
What does an Athlete Development Academy session look like?
“Marcus decided at the end of his sophomore year that he wanted more out of his track career. He knew that he needed to put in extra work. Our motto around the house is if you are doing the same things as everyone else you aren't getting better. We knew that off season speed and agility training was what would allow him to take the next step.
As we looked around for options, we were excited to join the team at BKZ Athletic Development. We loved the individual and small group attention and the fact that we didn't have to travel to Indy! Staying local meant a lot to us and we are glad that BKZ is in Muncie.
I have no doubts that working with Bill and the staff at BKZ has already impacted Marcus's athletic career which was evident with his Indoor State title. He still has big goals of making it to the Outdoor State Finals as well as running at the Division I level.
We look forward to continuing his training with BKZ Athletic Development through his junior and into his senior seasons and the impact it will make in both track and football.”

“Bill has been working with our son, Campbell for close to a year now. In that timeframe, we have seen solid improvements in all areas of strength, speed, agility, reaction time & the list goes on. With injuries being so prevalent among young athletes, we also wanted to give Campbell a one up in the area of injury prevention and Bill’s classes do just that. My husband and I believe in Bill’s approach & the results we’ve seen so much so that our 3 younger boys & their whole baseball team are set to start working with Bill soon.
I’m so thankful for the knowledge, experience & mentorship that Bill & BKZ Athletic Development provide to our young athletes locally & would recommend his program for any young athlete serious about their respective sport(s).”
